tristate film shoot

never thought i could be in so many states in so many days....

in the past week, while i have been neglecting my blog site, i have been travelling.

we started the film shoot in pennslyvania, after leaving my house in upstate ny, i headed to nyc to pick up the art director, then had to do a huge prop pick up in new jersey and then make my way to a little town outside philly called broomall....

shot there for about 4 days in a 400 year old house- a living museum of sorts that let us use everything including the antique rope beds and the fireplaces in the house.......amazing group of people to work with!

then headed from broomall thru new jersey again to do some prop returning on to old bethpage on long island to stay in a slight sleezy hotel that had 24 hours maid service...if you know what i mean!

after some all night sign painting and prepping, we shot in bethpage for a day where it rained for about 6 hours and let me tell you, that film crews are not a breed that come in OUT of the rain...instead we stay in the rain to get it done.....soaking wet at 2am i finally made my way to a swank, new hotel....(the producers apologized and made nice after hearing about the previous evenings lodgings)...in plainview. long island

and last but not least, the next day, we returned to clean up the last location, pack up and again return more props to new jersey, return my art director to nyc and then make the 2 hour trek about to my own warm bed!

a good nights sleep and it is time to start on the next project!
