is anyone building an ark?
not that i am counting, but i think that is has rained for 8 days straight here in the lovely new jersey beach town.
there are roadways that are flooded, there are intersections that you have to remember to avoid and the wind pitches some great random road barricades into the obstacle course that is our road to work. the other day i think i counted about 6 garbage cans (plastic ones), a few lids, a recycling box or two and a large sea shell planters...like small dog large not tea cup large.
not to mention that the building we are using as a soundstage has sprung a small leak and a boat that we borrowed had to be bailed out to avoid sinking into the bay.
all in all it has put a slight damper on our project, but it just extends the time that we get to stay here...which might actually be a blessing in diguise. more time on the beach and more time with the crew..can't beat that.
so as we have started to strike the sets, i am taking stock in our lumber to make sure that if we have start gathering the crew two by two, that there is actually something that we can float of this island with......so i am hoping that there is dove out there gathering the olive branch!
