by the light of the silvery moon......

driving home this evening, i had the pleasure of a moonlight drive....the moon, silver and clear as it shimmered across greenwood lake....the fog settled in as i made my way home and it was like driving in a blue mist, almost driving in the midst of clouds....not quite sure where the horizon line and the sky met...something haunting and beautiful to complete my day of travels

your heart and your head

it never ceases to amaze me-how your heart can convince your head to think just about anything is possible......

maybe i need to find a way to make my brain convince my heart that it is not (if not ever) right!

dazed and confused at the pool

tonight was a great new york night....after a mildly stressful day of work I was completely looking forward to a trek to brooklyn and an evening sitting in a giant empty pool with hundreds of strangers.....watching a movie i had never seen.....in the company of my brilliant friend, who suggested we go!

apparently every summer tuesday evening the red brick compound in the midst of mc carren park opens its gates to reveal the glory and fun one can have in a pool, even when there is no water to be found!

tonight was no exception, as people lined the block to get in and kept filling in well after the "made for drive in movie" started- the shallow basin became filled with people, lawn chairs, and assortment of blankets and the breeze that one gets when there are no tall buildings to obstruct it.

there in the midst of a city, a collective group of movie goers sat back to be (and see) dazed and confused and I couldn't have been happier being one of them.
