all things come in threes

in a little less than three days....i will no longer be able to claim the lovely state of New York as my home

in less than three days i will take to the highways to visit family and friends along the east coast

in a little more than three days i will be registering my car in florida and planning my new adventure of moving to LA

in less than three months i will be driving across country visiting family and friends on my way to LA

in less than three years i am hoping that i will once again be able to call the lovely state of New York my home again....

today it happened.... the single most exciting moment of meeting some that is part of the hollywood elite......

on our film set today we had an unexpected, amazingly inspiring, completely wonderful run it with one of the directors of our time....steven speilberg....yes the one, the only and his beautiful wife too.

he stopped, chatted a little, posed for a few pictures and encouraged us to keep pushing to use REAL film for the student projects not that 24 frames per second format......

totally unbelieveable-incredible nice man and it completely made my day, week, month and possibly year

week of firsts

it is my first few days of staying in NYC for 2 weeks while i am prepping for this upcoming shoot.

i am staying in my first NYC apartment that they are subletting for me on the upper west side and it is the first building that i have ever lived in that had a doorman

today was the first day that i ever used a garbage shoot instead of walking my garbage to the dumpster

today was the first day of snow in december

today was the first day that i walked to the corner deli for my milk and juice for the morning and did not have to drive to the grocery store

today is the first day that i realized that i can not wait till i can afford to buy an apartment on this great island of manhattan....
